I should've read the reviews first. The ads DO make it out to be a free app, and the responses to the many people saying that are NOT a good look for you. After seeing the responses, I looked at all the details on the playstore and scoured the website. There is ZERO information about subscription pricing. The website does say there's a subscription, but you don't find out pricing until you download it and go through all the prompts. Transparency matters, and there is none with this app.

7 bucks a month or 46 a year. there, I saved you time and storage space. I don't mind paying for apps, but a subscription for something that is gonna be the same for the next two years is wild. I would pay $10 once, but I'm not paying monthly for something that never changes.

We release updates including fully new toys multiple times a year on top of our regular seasonal events ā˜ŗļø pricing can always be found for your region under the "in-app purchases" header on the Play store. No need to download first! We offer monthly, annual, and lifetime options along with a 7 day free trial so you can test it out with your family.

I'm not sure yet if this offers more for older kids, but I have a 2-year-old, and this doesn't offer much for him in terms of learning. He taps around with things, but there's limited benefit other than emergency occupation on a plane. There are better (free) apps out there that will teach your kid something.

What’s new

New Update: Phonics!

Phonics just got a big upgrade! Kids can build adjectives along with nouns, bringing more expression and meaning to the words they create. Explore new scenes like a construction site, medieval fair, and museum, each packed with playful surprises and storytelling opportunities. We’ve also updated how words are built: we now use standard spelling instead of phonetic. For example, instead of ch-r-u-k, it’s now t-r-u-ck. Come take another joyful step towards learning to read!
