Worked great for about a year, then today it decided not to be connected to the fan anymore. Tried "re-pairing" about 12 times and it never got past 40% before saying it "disconnected". I've cleared the apps cache and tried again and it still doesn't work, did the same thing after clearing app data, and after reinstalling the whole app. This app has officially stopped working so it is now useless.

Often "smart home" devices are less capable than advertised, and apps are frustrating to use. Dreo however immediately won me over, with a very well designed app that allows surprisingly easy control of all the features of their products. You can set schedules, turn fans or heaters on at different speeds for different temperatures, and the app is both clear to use and very responsive. Other manufacturers should study this app as inspiration. everything you want, little else.

The heater performs much as advertised. initially the heater kept tripping circuit breakers even on a dedicated line. My electrician said it was due to the new type of breaker and installed the older type which works great. I mostly use the ECO mode and after a while you can determine the adjustment needed for your particular desired temperature. Scheduling program works well. Overall a good heater for a medium sized room.
